Who We Are
Passionate About Games
BLAKOUT is a small game development company based in Dorset, England. We work with our clients to bring their ideas to life, providing an all-encompassing range of services, required for any game to be designed, built, and perfected.
Projects We Have Worked On
Below showcases a select few of the projects we have worked on. Unfortunately, due to the nature of our business, we are not able to show you a lot of our work. Other types of projects in our portfolio range from mobile games and interactive gamified websites, to VR + AR games and simulators.
Ideas are nice, but they are not design
Great, solid design is the most important part of any game. Design allows you to fully understand the requirements of your project, enables you to determine a development timeline, and crucially understand the budget required to carry it through to completion.
We can adopt your existing designs into our workflow or help turn your ideas into a tangible design plan from the ground up.
Depending on the project, prototyping can be a crucial part of the development process. It allows new untested mechanics and user flows to be proofed before any considerable amount of time or money is spent.
Programming, art creation, project management and all the rest
Development is a broad term in game development, which needs to consider everything from technical implementation and artistic vision, to project management, reporting and QA.
We can work with your company’s management workflow and fill individual roles, or handle every aspect depending on your needs. All our internal management and development practices are considerate of keeping you in the loop every step of the way.
Once you have a game, the next step is releasing it to the world. Maintaining stability, authoring new content and all around supporting your game post-release is important for extending your games shelf life, as well building up a strong community; both for your game and your business.
About Our Clients
Over the years, we have worked with a diverse range of companies and individuals, spread all around the world - from indie developers, to multi-million-pound production companies.
